If you have a ranking profile in place (such as seniority), you can use shift bidding to allow agents to bid on available shifts (and see the likelihood of getting that shift). Schedule or shift bidding automates the process of matching bids to available schedules, allowing agents to rank their choices then the system reconciles the rankings against the available inventory of schedules.
