Today's quick tip: What is the Unassigned Participant Report?
When generating an optimized schedule, if you see an exclamation point in a yellow triangle next to Agent Schedule Template Assignment, there are agents without an assigned schedule template on the start date of this working schedule (see extra credit). You can proceed with generating an optimized schedule, but agents without an assigned schedule template on the start date of the working schedule will not receive a schedule assignment.
Run the Unassigned Participant Report to view those agents.
The Unassigned Participant Report is located in the working schedule > Interactive Schedule Reports. This report displays agents who do not have an assigned schedule, and if there are schedules without an assigned agent you can click and drag the agent's tile to a schedule to assign one.

How do I tell if an agent has a schedule template assignment?
In the working schedule, expand the Utility Schedule Reports menu and select Effective schedule assignments report. This lists all of the agents included in the schedule and their schedule template assignment. A red X indicates an agent without an assigned schedule template.
Where can I assign a schedule template?
There are three places where you can assign schedule templates to agents.
- In the agent profile > Scheduling.
- In the schedule template (Settings > Schedule templates > Schedule templates > select template name > Add or Remove People [in the Assigned people tile]).
- In Settings > Schedule templates > Assignments.
