Today's quick tip: Moving a group to a different supervisor
One of your supervisors won the lottery or maybe is ready for a well-deserved retirement. Here is how you can easily transfer their direct reports to a new supervisor using the Agent Synchronization Wizard.
Assigning the new supervisor
While you can manually assign a supervisor from within each agent's personal profile, using the Agent Synchronization Wizard allow you to assign multiple agents or a whole team from one supervisor to another.
Open the Wizard by navigating to Settings > People & agent templates > Synchronize people > Synchronize people now.
1. Click Next.
2. Select the Site that includes the supervisor and agents then click Next.
3. In the Synchronize assigned supervisor dropdown select the new supervisor. Be sure to change all other options to 'Do not synchronize...' then click Next.
4. Click Skip activities.
5. Click Skip schedule templates.
6. To transfer agents from an existing supervisor, select that supervisor from the Supervisor list then click Choose as target. Once executed, this will move agents from this supervisor to the one selected in Step 3.
7. Confirm your sync settings then click Synchronize agents.
8. Review the changes then scroll down and click Finish.
All selected agents now report to the new supervisor in the organizational model.
