How to create and edit schedule templates.
For more information, see Schedule Template Types
Step-by-step
Settings > Schedule Templates > Schedule Templates
- Select Click here to create a new schedule template.
- Select the template type. For this example, a Fixed schedule.
- Give it a representative name. When naming schedule templates, remember that CommunityWFM sorts them first by type, then alpha/numerically.
- You can leave Description blank but add one if someone who is unfamiliar with the template will need to use it.
- Don’t do anything with Default interval options.
- Save.
- Click Next to set up the work times.
The work time screen always starts on Monday, but this won’t affect the schedule.
- Select the start time.
- Select the end time.
- Select the break set in the break set assignment window.
- If you have a break time that needs to be consistent: click the thumbtack next to the breakset assignment window and assign time(s) to the breaks.
- Click the thumbtack next to the break or lunch you need to set.
- Select the time from the drop-down then click Save.
- Select the default work type.
- Click Save and CommunityWFM will build that shift.
- To copy the template to other days of the week: Select the days of the week and click Copy.
