Community includes a wizard that allows you to quickly synchronize different agent properties.
There are two new options in version 5.1: Region (language) and PTO rules (legacy or calendar partition).
Using the Wizard
Navigate to Settings > People & agent templates > Synchronize people > Synchronize people now.
Note: There is no "back" button as you go through the steps.
Step 1: Review the synchronization wizard introduction then click Next.
Step 2: Select the site | activity from the drop-down menu. Click Next.
Step 3: Sync Properties and Values
For each property, change to Do not synchronize... or select the sync property. You can select more than one property to synchronize.
Synchronization options include:
- Work type - select the event type.
- Time zone - Default is the enterprise model site properties, or select from the drop-down menu.
- Synchronize assigned supervisor - select the supervisor from the list.
- Synchronize PTO Rule Source - select legacy auto-approve or calendar partition.
- Synchronize Region - select the preferred language.
Step 4: Sync activity assignments. If changing activity assignments you can select the new assignment here, otherwise, click Skip activities.
Step 5: Sync schedule template assignments. You can add schedule templates to current assignments or click Skip schedule templates.
Step 6: Select Participating Agents. Select by Activity, by Supervisor. Select from the drop-down first then click Choose as target to advance to the next step. Or manually choose people from a list.
Step 7: Confirm sync settings. Review the sync settings then click Synchronize agents.
Step 8: Synchronization complete. Review your completed synchronization then click Finish to close the window.
