How to set up external communication devices, such as a cell phone and email.
Navigate to Properties > Devices
Configure your communication channels here. There are several communication channels available, including email and SMS text message.
Review your current settings and click Add new phone or Add new email to configure additional channels.
The display of current devices provides the option to edit, delete, or deactivate that specific device.
To add a new phone number click Add new phone. Provide a description (required) and a valid phone number.
To add an email click Add new email. Provide a description (required) and a valid email address.
To set up the mobile app, use the QR codes.
Scan the top QR code with your mobile phone camera or QR code scanner to add CommunityWFM to your contacts, then scan the bottom code with your mobile phone Community Everywhere app to configure the mobile application. Log in to the mobile application to configure push notifications. Note: You must use the scanner within the Community Everywhere app for this step.
Calendar integration
(If the following doesn't work, see below for an alternative method.)
Agents can add their CommunityWFM schedule to their personal Google or Outlook calendar using the iCal link in CommunityWFM.
Note: Schedule updates from CommunityWFM to a Google or Outlook calendar using the iCal link are not real-time and may take several hours.
- Navigate to Properties > Devices
- Click Copy iCal Link.
The iCal link is now on the clipboard.
Google Calendar
- Open the Google calendar.
- Go to Settings (gear icon) > Settings.
- In the navigation pane, expand the section Add calendar then select From URL.
- Paste the iCal URL copied from the CommunityWFM Devices page.
The CommunityWFM calendar events will appear on the Google calendar as part of an Other calendar.
Outlook calendar
- Open the Outlook calendar.
- In the Manage Calendars section, select Add calendar > From Internet.
- In the pop-up, paste URL copied from the CommunityWFM Devices page then click OK.
- Depending on your Outlook settings, you may have the option to enter a name, select a color and charm, and select the location for the calendar.
The CommunityWFM calendar events will appear in Outlook as one of My Calendars.
Alternate method
- Paste the copied iCal Link into a different web browser tab.
- When prompted, select a location to save the .ics file and save it.
Outlook

- Navigate to the location where the file was saved.
- Double click and select Open with Outlook.
- When prompted, select Import into your calendar.
Google Calendar

- Next to Other calendars, click the + to Add other calendars and select Import.
- Under Import, click Select file from your computer.
- Select the iCal.ics file and click Open.
- Click Import.
